The knowledge that comes with age is very welcome and much desired. But, the associated facial lines and greying hair are agonized over. Most of us would wish to enter our autumn years with the adulthood and knowledge that life has given over a couple of decades but without the wrinkles! There is no miracle cream or proven treatment that would give you younger wrinkle-free epidermis as you age. But, here are a few tips to help you defeat facial lines while you age gracefully.

Protect yourself from the sun
Premature aging is often seen as inevitable and a part of getting older; however, up to 90 % of the noticeable symptoms of aging are brought on by the sun, even though they may not show up until years after sun exposure has occurred. Protect your face from harmful sun rays.

Stay away from sugar

Keep skin well hydrated
In order to keep your skin soft and sleek, it is essential to keep it moisturized both inside and out. You should stay moisturized throughout the day to maintain your complexion's wetness stages, and eat meals such as fruits and veggies which have high-water content. To moisturize the skin from the outside, use a moisturizer appropriate for your skin or hydrating oils such as vitamin E, avocado or almond oil. Also, it may be worth getting a humidifier to counteract the drying effects of central heating and air conditioning.

Get your sight tested
The area around your eye can be one of the first places to display symptoms and sign of aging such as wrinkles and crow’s feet, and these can be amplified by subconscious frowning or squinting brought on by poor eyesight.  If you find yourself regularly squinting to see better, it is important for both your health and appearance to get your eyes checked and invest in some glasses or contact lenses if required.

Eat wrinkle-busting foods
To help prevent facial lines, try to eat an eating plan full of anti-oxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids help to keep epidermis soft and nurtured from within, avoiding lack of fluids and dry skin, while anti-oxidants help battle against the toxins that cause facial lines. Excellent meals to stock up on include greasy fish, flax plant seeds and antioxidant-rich fruits.
